Sophie Turner has reportedly found a new romance with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, just weeks after ending her relationship with British aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson.
According to The Daily Mail, the Game of Thrones star, 29, was seen on a “secret date” with Martin, 48, shortly after calling it quits with Pearson following nearly two years together. The timing coincides with Martin’s recent separation from long-time partner Dakota Johnson, 35, ending their nearly eight-year relationship and engagement earlier this summer.
End of Two High-Profile Relationships
Turner and Pearson’s relationship reportedly came to a definitive end after a high-society wedding in late September, where witnesses described the pair as alternating between heated arguments and passionate reconciliations on the dance floor. Despite their ups and downs throughout the summer, sources confirmed the breakup was final.
Rather than dwell on the split, Turner appeared to move forward quickly, meeting with Martin the following week. The Coldplay singer, who famously “consciously uncoupled” from ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, has been based in London this summer while performing multiple sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium as part of the band’s Music of the Spheres world tour.

Meanwhile, Pearson, the heir to the Cowdray estate in West Sussex, has also reportedly moved on. Insiders claim he was spotted last week at a London nightclub holding hands with a tall blonde woman bearing a striking resemblance to Turner.
A spokesperson for Sophie Turner declined to comment on the reports.
A Full-Circle Moment for a Coldplay Superfan
Interestingly, Turner has long been an avid Coldplay fan. A resurfaced 2020 clip from her ex-husband Joe Jonas’s show Cup of Joe revealed the actress bursting into tears after receiving a surprise birthday video message from none other than Chris Martin.
In the video, Martin greets her warmly:
“This is Chris from Coldplay. I wanted to say, on behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band, have the best day. I’m sending you all my love.”
Turner, visibly emotional, responded, “I’m not going to cry on camera,” before laughing with Jonas, then her husband.
Past Relationships and Recent Changes
Turner and Jonas married in 2019 and share two daughters, Willa (4) and Delphine (2). The pair finalized their divorce in September 2024, just over a year after Jonas filed for separation. Shortly after, Turner was romantically linked to Perry Pearson in late 2023. The pair appeared inseparable for much of 2024, attending Glastonbury Festival together in June.
However, breakup rumors surfaced soon after when Turner was spotted on the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya in August. Despite a brief reconciliation in September, the relationship appears to have ended for good.
Pearson, the eldest son of Michael Pearson, 4th Viscount Cowdray, is heir to a vast family estate known for its polo grounds and historical legacy.
Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson’s Quiet Split
Martin’s own love life has also undergone a major shift. He and actress Dakota Johnson, star of Fifty Shades of Grey, had been together since 2017 following his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow in 2015. The couple became engaged but officially split in June 2025 after years of on-and-off reconciliation.
A source told The Daily Mail:
“Their relationship had been over for some time, they just hadn’t made it official. Dakota loved Chris deeply, and his children too. The breakup wasn’t sudden, but inevitable.”
Johnson was said to be “devastated” about stepping away from Martin’s children, Apple (21) and Moses (19), but remains close to them.
Moving On All Around
While Turner’s rumored romance with Martin is still in its early days, both appear ready to move forward from their long-term relationships. Meanwhile, Joe Jonas was recently spotted at a private Miami event chatting closely with a mystery brunette, though sources say there was no overt display of affection.
If reports prove true, Sophie Turner’s latest connection marks an unexpected yet intriguing new chapter for both stars, bringing together two of entertainment’s most recognizable faces, each emerging from heartbreak into what might be a fresh start.
